Maybe, maybe not. I gather the north magnetic pole is moving, so something could be up... As sea level rises, the pressure on the crust underneath may increase slightly, but enough to require some stress relief (in the form of earthquakes).

I would imagine there are earthquakes happening all the time around world all the time. If they are in remote areas, or don’t cause major damage and death, they don’t make the busy world news cycle.

Probably. Many are in the ring of fire. Last I knew, we humans can't make real earthquakes and there aren't any gods.
