Redundancy is a part of life. My phone rings and my mind immediately says "this has happened before." Then we all keep doing the same damned old things every day. We have a same routine and pattern about us.

Now into your story. A 12 year old girl plots with another girl to kill their families and then run away to Georgia according to the article. Total insanity. Maybe dope, maybe not. The girl shoots her father and then herself. Woops! No Georgia trip now. One thing that does this is the same redundancy you first spoke of. Absolutely everything is flooding our media daily. It's the same old crap. Hey, somebody did this so I'm gonna try it, they think. I call it monkey see, monkey do. I'm not sure about what to do about it.

I do know that some even today claim this is all happening coz we took god out of our schools. Bring him back and get your kids and family involved in church, they say. Guess what? In or out of a church you cannot avoid the ever present media. Is all of this a form of future shock?
