Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.In Greek, the language of the new testament the word Pneuma ( πνεῦμα ) has many meanings including Breathe, Spirit and Soul.
So a child who does not take a first breathe has no soul as one has not been taken in to its body, however when the child is within it's mother's womb it shares her soul.
There is a word for this of course... it is

This is the absolute truth. The bible says life begins when the child draws that first breath. Obviously if the child never draws a breath it is not alive. Religious believers do not listen. Life does not start when the sperm and the egg shake hands. Sorry. It's just not factual.

Not only does The Bible say first breath fifteen times but it states nowhere that a fetus is of any special consideration. At Jericho, and other sites, god states to kill the pregnant women. Thou killed them in The Flood. Therefore, the zealots have made up a concept and inserted it into Biblical Law for human control of something they don't care for. The blasphemy is in our SCOTUS now declaring it American Law. NOBODY should obey this law as it is illegal on the face of it. Dr's should, IMO, abort and tell The Judge to fuck off. If everyone begins to take SCOTUS laws in this vein we'd have chaos and politicians would have to respond by telling SCOTUS "Go to Hell."
