We all understand how projection is so closely tied to Republican behavior. Recently, both Trump and Republican congresspersons have said that the FBI has been politicized. Nearly everyone thinks that they are complaining that the FBI have been persecuting them, as with the Mar-a-Lago raid. WRONG. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

It is more projection. What that statement REALLY means is that THEY own the FBI. And that statement is the surreptitious signal to those who understand that, yeah, the FBI has been corrupted past the tipping point.

So yes, the FBI is nowhere to be seen in terms of addressing voter intimidation, intimidation of government officers, stopping sedition supporters running for office, subverting elections, and the rest of it.

The GOP is telling us we're fucked if we think the FBI will do anything about anything. Without the FBI, there is no federal law anymore, and we are on our own. Democracy and the country are already dead and buried.

Buy a gun. That's the only protection you have anymore.
