Nostalgia is pleasant looking backward. I cannot remember times being so good at the time. I wonder if we will look back with nostalgia in the future to our present time of covid, the 5th industrial revolution , and other present societal disasters??

Well, not everything was gloom and doom, at least not for me.

"Nostalgia isn't what it used to be"
first used in the 1959 novel titled “The Tents of Wickedness” by Peter De Vries.
