And we live in an age when a robot can probably produce more data, than human visitors could in the sixties.

It was pretty cool to watch. I grew up with the Space Race, and this stuff still amazes and engages me. Best space-related memory: watching the 1969 moon landing at 12 years old, in the wee hours of the night — from behind the Iron Curtain. Despite the Cold War, they carried the NASA feed live. Even as a kid, I got the message that some things can transcend even deep divisions.
