Pain is a great teacher. I am having lessons from my feet, legs, and back on how to get up on a cold morning: if I have put my socks on a heating source ( mine is the register next to the bed ) the night before, I can grab them, slip them on and be immediately ready to get up, without pain or stiffness. The rest of the body will follow, as long as my feet feel comfortable.

I remember we used to keep our shirts & pullovers in bed with us in winter so that they would be warm when we took the pajama top off. . . No central heating so frost flowers on the insides of windows.

Fortunately no arthritis when 7.

Yeah, I'm intent on trying to take my shower at night, but making the transition is hard...

very good advice. i have recently learned a daily multi-vitamin, mine are for the over 50 crowd, greatly help my overall status of feeling awake, equilibrium, breathing etc. all the best.

I find that oxycodone in small doses also helps. I also found out that even small amounts cause addiction. Since I am already dependent on carefully measured amounts of insulin, I am wary of anything else.
I am still hoping for researched amounts of liquid painkillers I can administer with my pump, but no! My endocrinologist always gets this crazed look in his eyes when I mention that idea.
I am happy you found a relatively innocent drug that works for you.

@Spinliesel the vitamins are not about controlling pain so much, just overall function. be careful and eat your vegetables.

@hankster Thank, hankster. I do that. I take lots of vitamins, lots of veggies, not much meat, and lots of fish. And hardly any milk.
