On record lying to congressional committees, a crime I believe, Fauci should face charges. If he is innocent, nothing to fear but he lied about funding GoF research. Hope his retirement is filled with legal cases.

@barjoe He lied to a congressional oversight committee. Remember, due to the declaration of a pandemic he was granted enormous power under emergency legislation. And he lied to your government, under oath, when asked a direct question whilst having this now very powerful position.
If you wish to let it stand then you support officials having contempt for your government, a bit like insurrectionists. It's a question of trust.
Fauci is an arrogant prick and should be held to account if he fucked up, like you or me would be held to account if we lied under oath.

@puff To prove someone lied, you must establish when, where and in what context they gave a particular quote and it must be inclusive and exact. Then you must supply evidence to prove that the quote was not factual. You've done neither.

You don't like Fauci because he is an expert in the field and you are an anti-vaxxer, anti-masker. He devoted his life to public service and saving lives but what have you done other than spread disinformation on the internet?
