Interesting article. I wonder if anyone knows what species of hibiscus they refer too?
I had one in the back yard called 'Rosella" which is grown to make a divine jam. I did make a tea with some of the sepals added a bit of sugar and lemon and found it quite pleasurable as a drink.
In regard to the cannabis, I say:- does it matter if you drive a porsche or ford , all that you need, is to get to your destination.
Marijuana has long been used in "folk medicine" in numerous cultures. There is more evidence going back centuries vouching for it's effectiveness in medicine than any allopathic drug developed in the last 150 years.

Some claim that CBD acts similarly to the Hibiscus Tea, but the latter is a great head's up. Thanks.

I believe you''ve mixed the roles of CB1 and CB2. They're the opposite...

Cannabinoids such as CBD work on the CB2 receptors through the endocannabinoid system, THC on the CB1 receptors. If I recall correctly the CB2 receptors play a role in the immune system
