Anecdotal -
An email from a nurse to Alex Berenson

Hi Alex -

As a nurse for over 20 years I can tell you it is DELIBERATE that hospitals DO NOT ASK about covid vaccination status. Epic (the most common hospital charting system) does not register shots given at pop up vaccination clinics, roving vans or pharmacies or from many other health organizations (as you noted).

MANY of my patients show covid vax status as 'unknown', but when I ask them many have already have 4 shots (the people in my state are ridiculously compliant). We have an extensive covid checklist that we ask all patients, even outpatients, before they enter the hospital - so whether it's a quick EKG or a huge surgery that's going to require a 4 day stay you get asked the 'covid questions'

Do you have any of the following symptoms (lists every cold and flu symptom known to man).

Have you been diagnosed with covid in the past 3 weeks

Do you have a covid test pending?

Have you been around anyone diagnosed with Covid in the past 3 weeks?

Have you left the state in the past 3 weeks?
I think that's all of them, god knows I should remember since I've asked this a thousand times now. What's a HUGE omission from this list is their Vax status (since the Medical Gods have decreed that they will save us all).

WHY wouldn't they ask that?

It's also interesting to note that the hospital I work for REQUIRES a covid test, not on every patient, but on patients that are going to be admitted to the hospital. Allegedly this is for 'safety' but that makes no sense. Picture this. I work in the surgery department. Our department handles both inpatients (people who stay the night) and outpatients (people who go home the same day of their procedure).

So you can come into the same giant pre-surgery room with all the other staff and patients and we don't test you UNLESS you will be staying the night. So if you have covid you are probably exposing at least 50 people as an outpatient. I think it must be linked to the financial reimbursements they are getting- they probably only get reimbursed for inpatients who test positive at this point. It would be interesting to know.
Also, one of the HUGE contributing factors to the nursing shortage (aside from the hated vaccine mandates that everyone seems to have forgotten is still imposed on ALL health care workers- thanks Joe Biden) is the MASKS. It is TERRIBLY unpleasant to have to work all day, muzzled. Psychologically, it's awful. As a caregiver I cannot connect with my patients the way I used to, which is super depressing. They can't even see who I am.

Physically it's dreadful and stuffy and I'm pretty sure I'm inhaling bits of it deep into my lungs all day. I HATE them, and so does every other nurse, doctor, tec [hospital technician], aide etc etc that I know. I'm not even talking about the horrid N95's which are actually PAINFUL to have on your face for more than about 10 minutes.
The CDC withdrew the guidance to make hospital staff mask (at all) and are leaving it up to the hospitals. So, in case you wanted to know, that might be the single biggest factor in the vast number of health care workers resigning currently IMO and no one seems to be getting it.

Anyway, this is just a jaded nurse ranting late at night. Thank you for all you do, you have given me hope in my darkest times. Thank you for having the courage and character to tell the truth. The world needs more people like you. We need people who have a fucking spine.

Wishing you every success,

XXX

PS
Refusing the covid vaccine even though I thought I would probably lose my career and be living under a bridge helped me grow a spine. I somewhat miraculously secured a religious exemption. However this means I'm tied to the hospital I currently work at, so my career is at a dead end unless mandates are lifted. In the event I get fired, my career is over. No hospital will hire anyone without a vaccine. You can really only get an exemption if you are ALREADY hired. This is what it means for those of us who refused. If we need to move or if we get fired we are well and truly fucked.

However, I am more grateful every day I didn't get the jab. Refusing it was, and continues to be, "character building" as they say.

The corporation I work for goes through the questions this nurse is talking about. They have their own way of doing things. As for a hospital asking ridiculous Covid questions of you, I don't know any that do. Nurses are in my family and I don't think hospitals are obsessed with Covid as much as you are. You might try posting other things.

Who is this nurse and who is Alex Berenson and what are you doing with her e-mail? This is certainly a more important question.

Alex Berenson is a former NY Times science writer
who won a court case against Twitter for canceling him.
He writes a Substack which shows up in my email.
He is keeping the nurse's identity hidden,
for obvious reasons.

@BDair How valid does that sound to you? Not very much to me. People just keep on making shit up paid by subscribers clicks, views, and likes.

OK, you can just trust the information that Pfizer, which has made billions of dollars,
allows you to access through mainstream media that they are in complete control
of the narrative presented. You can trust the most corrupt corporation from the most
corrupt industry on the planet to tell you what to think.

@BDair Nobody tells me what to think. Not even you. For the record I do go by the scientific method.

The CDC and the FDA do not follow the scientific method.
Their missives are straight from the 'Ministry of Truth'.

A disgruntled ex-healthcare employee, upset over losing career options due to her inane and indefensible refusal to be vaccinated, lashes out. Thank you BDair for another stinky piece of bullshit.

She was not ousted. She is still working as a nurse.
Vaccine mandates are nonsensical, as the vaccines
never prevented infection or transmission.
They never tested them for that endpoint.
CDC Director Rochelle Walensky tells Wolf Blitzer that COVID Vaccines won't prevent transmission.

@BDair Read my reply again.

I did, and I read it wrong the first time.
Her refusal to be vaccinated is not indefensible.
Many nurses and healthcare workers refused the jabs
after seeing firsthand the harm they do.

@BDair only a small minority of healthcare workers have refused vaccination. Same is true with cops, firefighters, and military personnel.

What a pack of LIES!!!
Yesterday i saw my ortho doctor who has scheduled me for shoulder replacement Feb 15...the first item in the packet is a mandatory Full Lab workup for Covid less than a week before the surgery [the 10th]. Without it, my surgery will be canceled, even though i can document fully vaccinated.
And rightly so, because i am sure all the hospital peresonnel who will be surrounding me for the surgery want to be exposed to COVID everyday.....

She is relating 'her' experience where 'she' works.
You have no idea what the facts of her situation are,
and how it may differ from practices in other areas.
The 'vaccines' do not prevent infection or transmission,
so requiring them is nonsensical.

@BDair You are dead wrong again, BDair! While people who are vaccinated can still be infected, their viral load is likely to be far lower than it would be without the shot(s). So their likelihood of infecting others is also lower. This is perfectly consistent with the fact that the vaccines drastically reduce the probability that the patient will develop severe disease, or even die frim COVID-19.

@Flyingsaucesir Listen to Lord Fauci. The vaccines never worked.
Fauci on the Delta variant, same viral load as unvaxxed

@BDair In that clip, Dr. Faucci is talking about mask mandates as they relate to the delta variant. Presently, the delta variant is not considered a serious health threat in the USA. It's the omicron variant that we have to worry about. And guess what? Omicron viral loads in patients who are vaccinated are lower than they are in the unvaccinated. This is assuming there is a breakthrough infection, which is possible but not all that likely. In a straight up comparison of vaccinated people to unvaccinated people, vaccinated people are definitely less likely to transmit SARS CoV-2 to others.

@BDair You presnt it as some kind of proof of something, then hide behind a curtain aka her skirts?????
SHAME on you!!!!

Are you off your meds again?
I can not discern your meaning.

@BDair

Their lord Fauci is faster at contradictions than holly ghost and more powerful recently.

A response in the comments:

Hayrider’s Musings

In southern NJ it is the complete opposite. We test and grill every single patient on Covid status vaccine and testing. We bring in outpatients hours early to test, photocopy their cards to put into the chart. Waiting for Covid results is the norm and sets back start times. These are people with zero symptoms made to wear a mask for hours while they are in the hospital to “get healthy “. It’s a joke. I’m at the end of my career of 40 years in the business as a nurse and paramedic I don’t encourage anyone to follow in my footsteps. Healthcare has become a pill pushing pimp that likes you sick to keep them rich. Never do we address the co morbidities we just give them another pill and tell them you will be fine if you follow the doctors orders... who is following the insurance companies orders. Medicine is not proactive but reactive. If the sink is overflowing stop mopping the floor and turn off the faucet. It will never happen unless the patient takes responsibility for their own health and finds a doctor who practices preventative medicine

Congrats to this honest nurse at calling out all of this hypocrisy.

My sorry-ass profession (I’m a physician) has acted as camp guards, herding a frightened society on to the masking and vaccine boxcars. It has been shameful!

The best thing that ever happened to me was getting COVID early on. I never took the vax, never needed to, and have seen colleagues with no cardiac history get post-jab myocarditis so severe that they missed work and required full workups. When faced with being unable to work, I stated a religious exemption, and gave thanks I live in the Free State of Florida.

One hospital where I work reinstated mandatory masks, and it was hilarious to walk into the ER this morning and see every single staff member wearing the ridiculous things below their chins, their laughing faces uncovered.

Health care is a shockingly dishonest industry, and patients are right to mistrust us.

ICU nurse here. This is very interesting. My hospital stopped asking about covid vaccination a while ago. We also stopped testing every person that walks in the door (not sure about the planned surgery patients). Unless you have actual symptoms of infection you are not getting tested. We'll swab for flu and covid if you are symptomatic and maybe do a respiratory viral panel. That being said, OMG the MASKS! I am so freaking done. We all are. It's still masks for everyone 2+ in the hospital and all affiliated clinics, but only where the public can actually see us. WE are in a low transmission area BTW.

If I'm in a conference room or the breakroom then it's masks off. The entire learning center is mask free (separate building). It's awful, it's soul crushing. I am sick to death of seeing nothing but eyes. We are now being audited (spied on) for mask compliance. DNV (accrediting agency) recently visited and busted us for not fully enforcing our mask policy. I've asked numerous people where the pressure is coming from to keep the damn masks on. DNV? CMS? CDC? No one can tell me exactly. I think it's DNV.

Get this, we are supposed to enter the building (basement level) with either a cloth mask from home or put on one of the crappy masks left in a holder by the door. Those masks wouldn't protect you from a gentle breeze. When I get to my unit I'm supposed to swap the cloth or crappy mask for a "better" medical grade mask that I have to wear for my 12 hour shift, everywhere, even the nurses station. I refuse to mask in the basement. I don't put a mask on until I get to my unit. Screw them. It's not much but it's my way of telling them to kiss my ass. I also pull my mask down when I first introduce myself to my patient and their family so they can see the face of the person they have entrusted their lives to.

Jeez you have a lot of trolls.
Where's your group? The trolls reek of the MSM nonsense manure they're spreading. It's a shame I gotta get on here & block the eff out of folks to be able to enjoy the info sharing.

@Emme

They want the wealthy to have it all, and the vast majority don't even belong to their club.

@Castlepaloma someone shared an article about the wealthy requesting that their private pilots be unvaxxed. I found that curious. Thanks for the share. Really.

@Emme

Most of the wealthy don't get vaccinated, they can afford not to.

@Castlepaloma do you think there is an actual vaccine that does work, that THEY get? I'm sure they can afford anything they need to upkeep their own health as well.
