WHY do you have to remind me? I WANT this to change but am powerless to effect the change. I’ve marched, I’ve written letters, I’ve posted publicly. Nothing I do makes a difference. I feel impotent. I feel scared. I feel trapped.

.... and I feel for you - and the thousands of others like you. Beholden to the money fueled politics of lobbyists from the NRA.

Believe me--I understand and empathize! All we can do is keep on speaking out/demonstrating/making noise. Whether it's reproductive rights, fighting the NRA, xtian theocracy....whatever devil it is....we keep on making it difficult for them. Eventually, we'll get back what's been lost.

@Petter Yep.

@pamagain I am 73 years old and have been marching/protesting/writing letters/speaking out since I was a teenager. I’m tired and just want to live the rest of my life peacefully.

My daughter moved to the Netherlands with her small children, in part because of the idiocy of America with it's damn guns. At least those two babies will be somewhat safer over there.
