@Gwendolyn2018 We males are judged by the shoes (and the shirts and trousers and and and ...) we wear, but our shoes can be elegant and comfortable at the same time, whereas elegant women's shoes must be hell for your feet 
That's bullshit. I never wore high heels.
High heels damage your feet and back.

I wish I could say that. Back in the 60's when I worked in downtown Chicago it was considered inappropriate to go downtown NOT wearing high heels. I took a bus, then the subway, then walked half a mile to my office in 3" heels (or high heeled boots if it was snowing). We couldn't wear slacks either. Had to be dresses. I never thought twice about it but now in retrospect it really pisses me off!
