Very good! I'm trying to learn to draw in my spare time, unfortunately, spare time is something I don't have a lot of. What mediums do you use? I see pencil, but are the rest colored pencil, ink, marker, pastel, acrylic paint, or oil paint?

I'm among a dying breed anymore, the old school 'draw in pencil and ink by hand' class, and I use a standard ol' Flair felt tip pen to ink...then I scan the inked page into the PC and add colors...😉

Thank you Karcreat for posting these, you are a true artist. Anybody who can create art like this
has a talent which must have been given to you via your DNA. You certainly cannot be taught.
You are a very lucky man.

Funny you would mention DNA, as you are quite right...my dad is an oil painter, as was his father before him...😉

Some more of my stuff, plus a link to my published works and my 'pin up cartoons', where I got my start online (doing 'naughty' Disney gals and comic book nudes, believe it or not), tho the link here leads to edited versions...😉

Is one of the top ones supposed to be Elvira? I've liked her since I was a little kid.

Yup, she commissioned me to create a website game for the release of her second film, 'Elvira's Haunted Hills'...she, her manager and staff were super nice and very friendly, she did not disappoint, I have always adored her as well...

@Karcreat That's really cool. I was about 8 or so when I watched Elvira's first movie with my dad, as my mother did not want me to watch it due to her stunt at the end of the movie, so I snuck watching it with my old man and really enjoyed it😉

@SpikeTalon One of my fave lines from that flick...😉
.

@Karcreat Nice pic of her there😉

Good stuff, very polished!

Thank you!
I've been drawing daily since I was 5 years old, self taught...and I just turned 52...I'm one of those weird ass folks that actually ENJOYS getting older...😉

@Karcreat You are in for a lot more enjoyment in that case! ?

Nice. Do you have a website?

Several, LOL...

... to name a few...🙂

@Karcreat Watched you on Facebook. You do animations too? That's my gig as well!

@chucklesIII I DABBLE in animation, all 2D hand drawn and REALLY time consuming...so I usually require friends to handle the process who are better at it, after I write a script and create the characters, LOL...here's an example of the combo efforts, and thanks for watchin' me on Facebook, man...

@Karcreat I'm really loving this! Family Guy style with a Dr. Who story line. I added you to my Youtube watch list. Also, this is over 15 minutes of run time That's a lot of work! Great job!

@Karcreat , here's a clip from one I'm working on. [facebook.com]

@chucklesIII 15 minutes that took ME about a week to do MY part for (I designed/drew model sheets for all the characters, wrote the script, voiced PUP-e the dog, that was it...I turn it over to my man Jason Garafola to animate...and he does it in his spare time...it took almost two years.

We are still working on the second half to this pilot, but he has since learned to do CGI animation...so the characters will now also be in 3D...
