I was thinking today about canceling my subscription to Jon Stewart on Apple TV+ since some of the content is free on YouTube... I just watched the latest episode of The Problem With Jon Stewart and it is by far the best show available anywhere and well worth the price. I will gladly pay $7.16 per month to see this... and also watch the free previews on YouTube. There just isn't any other show that comes close... IMHO
I subscribe to nothing. I have You Tube ad blockers and basically watch anything I want for free. This includes movies at your local theater. My neighbor wants me to teach him how to do this and he can't even use a computer. Lost cause there and I will not get involved, but Jon Stewart is worth it. Take the plunge and watch him.
Unfortunately, unsubscribing means a loss of money. This is one reason It has become harder to get to view things for free. This problem is hitting a lot of important services and programs like NPR/PBS are having to get more donations from the corporations. This entails having the programs being more and more scripted by the corporations. It's an uncomfortable fact of life especially in the age of constant inflation.
I've only watched him on YouTube. I have an iPhone but never watch the TV. Is the show significantly different?
It is basicly the same just commentary from the writers snd previews and clips from the whole show. I watch them both and they are worth the effort to me.
