I'm going to go dark for a few days, I'm headed to the airport shortly for a short excursion to Las Vegas. Third trip this year, going back to visit my money staying at Luxor gambling all up and down the strip, I should be back to my normal self by Friday unless I win really big LOL. So I'll see you all on Friday , I may even post some pictures this time.
The images look upside down. Now this site is distorting attached images from older posts, I wonder what's coming next?
@glennlab
Good thing I found this post, had wanted to ask you back then what's your favorite part of visiting Las Vegas? I've never been to Vegas, but Atlantic City is a similar setup albeit far smaller though. My favorite part of the casino scene would probably be the buffets, at least back in the day anyways. The buffets in AC are incredible, pretty much regardless of what casino one decides on, and I hear the buffets in LV are what legends are made of.
Being diabetic now, buffets aren't much up my alley anymore, although I probably could still fit in a breakfast buffet given the low number of carbs in eggs and bacon.
My favorite part is the people watching. I gamble a lot, enjoy the comps, do a lot of sightseeing every time I'm there and shoot a shit ton of pictures. My favorite casinos for pictures are the Belliagio for the conservatory that changes its layout 5 times a year and Caesars' Palace for the art reproductions. For just tourist watching you can't beat Fremont street. For a room with a view you can't beat a fountain view from the Cosmo. pic 1 conservatory, pic 2 Caesars Palace from my room, pic 3, sent to @pralina1 to make her jealous, pic 4 the sphere from my room at the Cosmo. I think I have over a thousand pics from LV inside the city and several thousand from the trips there and back. The trips are more fun than the destination. I'll be going back next week.
Didn't you know...you're supposed to stand on your head to view the pics. lol
@Betty That, and afterwards jump through hoops too...
@SpikeTalon
Jump through hoops, then hula hoop. Now that would be worth seeing.
Have fun and safe travels!
It looks like this thread is from a while back. Hope you had an amazing time in Vegas and at Luxorю Did you have any luck at the tables? Remember to take lots of awesome pictures and share your stories with us. By the way, I'm new to the forum, but if you need any parking tips for Fremont Street, you might want to check out smart-parkings.com. Just a suggestion to update the thread.
Hope you have a great trip Glenn, and….get lucky!
Have a great time! Looking forward to those pictures!
