Religion, especially when mixed with politics, is the cause of death and suffering.
This year, Easter and Ramadan co-incide. It also coincides with Israel having an extremist, orthodox Jewish government.
Trouble was (and still is) bound to happen at the holy sites in Jerusalem.
Just been into town & disgusted that everything in this tourist town apart probably from the godbotherer's dens of religion & fairy tale extortion schemes together with an Asian supermarket or two is closed.
But the usual trinity of McD, Col Saunders & Red Rooster are open.
Come to Spain, bastion of Catholicism, where every bar, cafe, amusement parlour, local shop, DIY store, etc is busy.
@Petter It's not so much religion that has resulted in the lack of service but the extraordinary penalty rates that have to be paid. That, Australian laziness & expectation of being drunk , watching sport or being high on narcotics on a public holiday.
All these action considered religious are nothing more than continual slow genocide against one another!!!
Mostly because Arabs and Jews have the same holy sites and Israel has all the land. There is no known way to fix this situation.
In the town I work in the local grocery store claims they will not be open Easter Sunday. Yes, that bunny died for us and we now can drink his blood and eat his flesh. People refuse to see religion for what it is. Arafat reportedly once said that to win their war would depend on who had the biggest imaginary friend.
I like the picture!
The rabbit makes a softer touch, might buy that on a t shirt or Bob Marley smiling. Or Chris died for Us
