No I'm happy with giving a thumbs up if I like it.
And no thumb if it wasn't for me.

Or griping about it under the post itself. lol

Except in the political groups - those groups beg for a "WTF??" Button. But that's just me.

BOO! unnecessary!! If there was only some other way I could show my displeasure with this topic.

I don't think it'd be good for the site. If a user reads a post s/he agrees with, s/he is likely to "like" it and then, if s/he feels s/he has anything to add, reply to it. If s/he sees one s/he doesn't like (or, in some cases, one posted by a user s/he doesn't like), s/he'd be more likely to click the "thumbs down" and move on - so perhaps it's better not to have one so as to encourage users to say why they disagree with a post and thus promote discussion.

im not sure about it. I think if someones posted something i don't like ill either ignore it or comment explaining why i think that. whereas if i like what youve put theres not much need for me to comment.... hmm dunno really
