On FaceZucker I use this same generated name and a person there showing a picture to die for image has latched onto me. It says she has a generated name that might not be who she really is, if indeed a her. Who knows? Yesterday she said she was in Springfield just 4 hours from me and wanted me to come and get her. I said I had to work. She says send her $250 and she will be at my place when I get home. Last I checked she still does not know why I have not replied. Born at night but not last night.
Last month I was approached by a guy on a singles site. Great looking guy, great sense of humor. We had a terrific phone conversation or two.... But something made me suspicious. I did a google image search on his photo and it turned out to be the photo of a successful actor/model whose photo has been used numerous times to scam women. A few weeks later, the same photo showed up on another site claiming to be a different guy. I'm tellin ya... you have to be vigilant these days. They're everywhere. And unfortunately there are a lot of people getting conned by them.
Thanks for posting. I'm doing this to help anyone that I can. This Facebook person has now argued with me repeatedly about her image really being her even after I presented her with the name Flavia Oliveiro from getapop.com who has ALL of her pics and is said to be a Brazilian model. Apparently I do not get it that this person has stolen her identity and she is the real person. It all goes in a circular argument. What I am posting here will show you many pics of this woman.
Now she is not in Springfield, Mo. any longer but up above it on the map at 9505 SW Hwy. in Eldorado Springs, Mo. No, she does not own the house but is staying there. I should come and get her. No other contact info is given and I think I am being catfished. A man I used to work for was catfished from Utah and after seeing the girl decided to stay in Missouri. Scams have no bounds and I think they do this to get money and attention, hoping we will never wise up or just thinking older people are dumb.
@DenoPenno The going amount if $5000. That's what they always seem to need for their kid's operation, their business reverses, or whatever.
@TheoryNumber3 I would like to get this person off of Facebook but they might make the same kind of war on me, so it is not worth it. What I will do instead is simply ignore her on messenger. Her or whoever it is.
@DenoPenno Your best bet is to block her. And be vigilant for the same in the future.
@TheoryNumber3 Currently my catfisher pops up every time I am online in Facebook. It's as if she wants me to believe her over the Brazilian model and maybe thinks I will in time. I simply ignore the message popups. Let it sink in that she is busted. Why have words with her?
