Have you called your state's representatives to voice your opinion on an upcoming House or Senate vote?

Ted Cruz is a psychopath

I apologize. The site I listed at the bottom of my Ralph Wiggum meme appears to be restricted. You can find phone numbers to each of your senators offices here:

No, TBH, I'm not a political person.

1

No... I have written letters.

2

Yes I told House to vote for last bid for impeachment and Senate vs the tax bill. Unfortunately the impeachment motion was defeated.

2

Yes, and e-mail. es well.

Yeah but a lot of good it does me in Oklahoma. :/

Dude, I live in Texas. I think we have a better opportunity living in red states to make a change. If you have more liberal representatives, they're most likely going to vote in your favor anyway.

Senator Cornyn, from Texas, was the one to introduce the concealed carry reciprocity bill (in favor of a concealed carry permit being accepted across state lines), however he's also one of the only republican senators that admitted that prayers weren't enough, and he could no longer stand by and do nothing, thereby introducing a bill to encourage government agencies to report criminal convictions so that "the wrong people" cannot purchase guns...

Baby Steps.

I know its cliche' but being from Texas and seeing who my Reps are, I know for a fact they don't care what my opinion is because they didn't get my vote or my money

Please see my reply to MichaelBenton's comment above.

And also, do you know about Beto O'Rourke, the congressman from El Paso who is running against Ted Cruz in 2018?

Often, actually feel I'm doing more good when I go on rants about one subject or another, and hounddog others to write, text, email, or call their gov. Representatives or STFU.

Yes, I have. I called, Facebooked, and signed a petition. The issue did get resolved, but only when some of his core demographic supporters showed up.

Do it... *or don't. Instead, maybe you should remain silent and let the tyranny continue.

*Not being hostile. Comment was just to cater to your alias.

i enjoy the tyranny

I haven't called but I e-mailed Dick Durban and Tammy Duckworth.
I just got a form letter response from Tammy yesterday thanking me. 🙂

Awesome! Keep up the good work!

Haha, yassss! I always wonder if the aides checking the voicemail are like,"Here's that nutty liberal beyotch from Tow."

I've been doing a lot of phne banking to help protect net neutrality. If you care too, go to battleforthenet.com , sign the petition, make some phone calls, it takes 20 mins and just might help protect the internet.

Here are a few other links:

Thank you and keep up the good work!

Yes. Dean "fuckwad" Heller continues to send me letters thanking me for my "thoughtful comments" which he chooses to disregard.

Got a letter from Bill Posey that was basically all lip service, threw it away, I shoulda wiped my ass with it.

I got an email from Drumpf himself.
It's so insulting...
But keep up the effort. I know we can make a difference.
