I say LeBron James is the greatest basketball player ever - who you got?
It's close but I still give it to MJ. You put MJ into today's NBA with the rules of today's NBA that favor offense and I think he'd blow just about anyone out of the water. The defense was absolutely brutal back on the 90's. LeBron is a close second. 95-96 Bulls are still the greatest team ever assembled.
I think MJ is great but I think he gets too much credit, MJ didn't win a final until Pippen arrived.
Tough call Bill Russell or Wilt Chamberlain.
Shaq. No explanation necessary if you know his record.
No - Shaq was recently interviewed by Kobe - Shaq admitted that Kobe was always right about practice and getting serious about winning - Shaq was too much of a child, that's why he couldn't hit his freethrows - he wouldn't put in the work.
