So there is this organization called the Self Realization Fellowship. If I were to endorse some religious service this would be the one. You may enjoy watching a bit of it and draw some insights and understanding from it.

Another religious "... but I'm not religious!" person attempting to hide the fact that they are trying to sway non-religious people into "just take a look, you might draw some [religious < implied] insights".

What a maroon. Go peddle the snake oil on twitter. They will love you there.

Sounds a bit like a cult to me. Harmless on the outside but controlling on the inside ?.
Nothing wrong with meditation but it doesn't have to be connected to stuff like this.

I am fixing my flooded kitchen, got no time to commune with imaginary beings, thankyovurrymuch.

@FvckY0u no more unwanted water!!!!!! At the replacing -cabinets stage now........and still drying out, for example, the window seat.

@Mb_Man i once moved a bathroom and made that space into part of a new eat-in kitchen, singlehandedly with only hand-held power tools, among Many other projects.
I have a real aversion to hiring "help" as Nobody cares like Me about my stuff.....

There is a SRF in San Diego County, right on the bluff by the ocean in Encinitas. I have been there several times. The gardens and koi ponds, with their views of the Pacific, are spectacular.
