INCREDIBLE DOUBLE RAINBOW APPEARS OVER NYC ON THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY OF 9/11
Beautiful, but meaningless. Its just a rainbow.
That's a strange response.
What's the difference between a cow and 9/11?
Sp we should just forget about 3000 dead people?
@TheoryNumber3 We have 45,000 people a year die from a lack of health coverage. Since 9/11, that's about a million people that have died that we could have done something about. But we didn't. And still don't. Another 45,000 are going to die next year, too. In the past 22 years, most people in this country have lost a loved one in some senseless way. How self-important do you have to be to still be wanting the attention and spotlight associated with 9/11 memorials? Fuck 100x as many Iraqi citizens (as many as 315k) have died as a result of our WMD lie-fueled invasion. Maybe it's time to fuckin' give it a rest.
Perhaps I'm missing some deep meaning in your question. I'll grant you that cows are slaughtered to feed those humans who eat their flesh.
BUT...as a child of a serviceman who died in a war to prevent the slaughter of other humans....I can say there's a BIG difference.
The numbers of fire/police/EMT personnel who willingly ran into those buildings to save innocent victims makes your original question a mystery to me.
Care to explain?
@pamagain It was a joke that Theory either already knew or looked up and then responded to the implication without waiting for the punchline. The punchline you missed is: you can't milk a cow for 22 years.
No, I wasn't comparing the deaths of the first responders or anyone else to the slaughter of livestock. (I eat meat every day and think animal rights reasons for veganism are stupid.)
My point is that millions of other people have died in even more senseless ways since then, maybe it's time to put the 9/11 fanfare to bed.
@ChestRockfield Tell that to the people who loved them.
