Pascal's wager goes something like this: the smart money is betting on God. If you're right, then you're in with the hip crowd in Heaven. And if you're wrong, it won't matter; there is no Hell.
Blaise Pascal lived a long, long time ago (1623 – 1662). Modern science was barely getting started. He didn't have the advantage of knowing what we know today. So it should be no surprise that I'm not following Pascal's betting advice.
