If even a few photos of the gory remains from these mass shootings were made available, the legislation to reduce these mass casualty events would quickly follow.

(Even just the remaining blood pools would likely suffice)
(It can't be a privacy issue as the victims often can't be identified.)
(Why this hasn't happened to date is its own story)

Maybe someone can use AI to create a realistic murder scene. Spurting blood, children's heads exploding, children being cut in half, there must be something that can reach these gun worshipers.

@Gwendolyn2018 I'm thinking of a recreation of an actual scene. With names and details.

Fred Gutenberg, whose daughter was murdered at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas, was interviewed on the Stephanie Miller Show earlier this week. He described in detail how his daughter died. She was running away, down a hall. She was less than a second away from safety. A bullet severed her spine and punctured her lungs. She suffocated on her own blood. It was obviously not an instantaneous death. That's the kind of thing I would like people to see.

I agree. It's a tactic (albeit one of honesty) that worked when some photos from Vietnam became public. I can't find it at the moment but I read an article in which a forensic pathologist described some of what she saw at Sandy Hook, and it mentioned that some of the parents would have allowed it. Perhaps if there had been less "sparing" of our delicate sensibilities it would have spared them the additional nightmares they experienced at the hands of deniers. Personally, I believe withholding the images is intentional on the part of the gun lobby.

I agree, Lauren! And I suspect that, given their motives, the NRA would censor all news of these events.

I agree! And...even if it is ''privacy''....you can't tell me victims' families would object, knowing the reasons behind the publication.
