I'm ok. Lake Ontario is ok. Canada is ok. There was an underwater earthquake in lake Ontario. You can see the data on that in the photo. Our local elected official felt obliged to report on this on FB.

Was it an underwater earthquake or did a whale fart?

Yes, the freshwater whales are known for that!

That's an embryo ... not even a baby yet. Live in California for awhile and you get used to the feeling.

What it turned out to be is another media opportunity for a local politician to show how much he care about his constituents by sending this out over facebook. I hate to sound so cynical, but really... You are right, of course, the seed of a tiny earthquake. I would rather not have them, even the little ones, but snow, ice and high wnds are our danger systems here.

Earthquakes are scary. Even the small ones because they can increase in intensity. Just feel lucky that you don't have to deal with lava flows in your neighborhood like my buddy.

Hawaii 5.4, plus volcanic lava

Yes, I feel bad for them. I was driving to work one mrning, and we had a 4.something earthquake. I could feel that in the car, sort of an involuntary wave motion.

I've only been in 2 big earthquakes. They were in Oregon. I'm in CO now.

A magnitude 1.5 is very small. We have them here in California every day. Don't worry, be happy.

2

That’s not an earthquake; merely a shiver. ?

2

A 1.5 huh? How many thousands died?

2

1.5? A passing truck causes more vibrations!
