At the gym today and noticed that one of the TV's were showing a horse race. Past or present, doesn't matter it's not relevant. . . But what caught my eye was the celebration of the ownership of the winning horse. The younger guy, assuming he's the son of the rich older guy, pointed to the sky after the victory. While laughing to myself the thought entered my head, "While this boob is thanking his imaginary friend, four blocks away an eight year old kid is drawing their last breath as they die of cancer." I find it extremely fascinating that God dedicates so much attention to the baseball player hitting the game winning home run in the bottom of the 9th, making sure the winning field goal splits the uprights from 45 yards away and assuring that the steroid engorged horse crosses the finish line first. God appears to favor all white people (unless some of you have cancer) and wealthy minorities in this country.
