They also convert a lot of the old churches into apartments.

The church where I was Christened in Middlesbrough is now Phoenix Squash courts

Kinda makes me wonder if the Anglican priests have anything to do with the food court. If so I would be very careful about where in the church they are selling hot dogs!

Still gaudy and ostentatious. Perhaps a bit less sleazy now, though.

The most advanced countries are the least religious. They have some religious peoples, they just don't let it control their whole country. England still has a king and queen though and that ridiculous outdated stupidity.

"The most advanced countries are the least religious."

Doesn't your profile say you are from Florida?
Home to the 20,000 seat Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale and we may have King Jug-lugs and Queen Horse face, but you have both Trump and Desantis

I believe England is doing better than the U.S. in moving away from religion because most of the batshit crazy beliefs find a better following in the U.S.

So that means the Americans are more ?????

I would not say better, just more imaginative and slightly less dangerous in their alternate forms religious fuckery
