I agree. The problem is either his supporters still do not care or they think we are making this all up.

Saying they don't believe it is an integral part of their virtue signaling.

I think they know Trump is an awful person. They just don't believe he will ever be awful to THEM.

It is flawed thinking when a group thinks, yes he's an asshole, but he's OUR asshole. That was the reasoning behind the U.S. oringinally supporting General Noriega, Sadam Housin, Asama Bin Ladin (in the war when Russia invaded Afghanistan), and so on. Eventually every asshole turns on those who helped raise them up. Trump would be no different, and he has already turned on at least a few republicans.
