Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.it seems to me that religion is always mentioned in allowing same sex marriage. My take on this is that the couple would then still hold to their religion and still go to church. That is the trap. I would not give a damn about their religion and this brings us to the fact that the church was not involved in marriages until sometime after 800 AD. Then a few centuries later marriage became one of the sacraments.
