Blood cancer is a different animal. Leukemia, lymphoma the most prevalent. The only thing that saves you is chemo, radiation and a bone marrow transplant. Your blood is removed from your body completely and you receive a donor's blood/bone marrow. Your body can reject that bone marrow and you have 80% chance of contracting graft vs host disease. Your body and immune system get attacked in the intestines-I lost 50 lbs and couldn't eat for months. You also can have heart failure-which I did-and problems with your skin, muscles and nervous system. 5 years since my bone marrow transplant I have been in remission. I am among the lucky 10%.

Thanks for the video-dispels falsehoods of cancer.

I'm glad you survived! I'm sorry fighting the cancer was such an ordeal, though. Good on you for fighting all the way!

Thank you - very kind. Trying to live normal life again.

@sassygirl3869 great testimony. Power to you as a survivor!

@sassygirl3869 Trying to live a normal life on this site??? LOL Hang in there, we have your back!

@pixiedust I am very happy your here sister..I appreciate your trauma during the treatments..it's good to breath...much love.

Well, let's try food grade DMSO.

The true cause of cancer is breathing.... it has been proved beyond ANY doubt that all patients that have died of cancer used to breathe (Yes, pseudo-science videos make me nauseous too).

I know. Breathing, right ...

@pixiedust No one can deny this fact 🙂

Man, these pseudo-science videos literally make me nauseous.
That said, remember that Steve Jobs was a very intelligent and outrageously wealthy vegan who could afford only the best yet died from a curable cancer.
The chief of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's integrative medicine department, said, "Jobs's faith in alternative medicine likely cost him his life.... He had the only kind of pancreatic cancer that is treatable and curable.... He essentially committed suicide.
[en.wikipedia.org]
End of story.

Well going Vegan and giving up alcohol & sugar has worked for my uncle (with medical intervention too), I'd copy him if I got cancer for sure. Prof. Stick doesn't seem to have any medical background either, he's an inventor.

I believe he's a biologist.

@phxbillcee on his blurb it just says that he's studied science since leaving high school:[dickfiguresfanon.wikia.com], but it would be interesting to have that clarified.

I had cancer..if ever shows up again..I'll use that good ol' fashion chem or radiation..

I couldn't do chemo/radiation again-it would kill me.

@sassygirl3869 if my throat cancer comes back they'll remove my larynx

Why do we turn to unqualified persons for critical information? Thanks for the skeptical analysis.

In the days of clay pipes, smokers used to get lip cancer from the constant irritation. Look at cigarette smoke through a microscope, and you will observe what sharp edges the smoke particles have. Burn your skin repeatedly in the sun, and... Habitually scold your throat with burning coffee and... Irritate your stomach with alcohol and tobacco and....
Conclusion (from this non-scientific practitioner of logic): Cancer is ("mainly"? Ok, at least "often"!) caused by repeated irritation: Surface cells are damaged, prompting the creation of replacement ones at an unnatural rate, i.e. a tumor !
( Yes, I will accept the Nobel for medicine, thank you!)

Thanks for the video. Nutritionfacts.org actually uses peer reviewed literature to support their claims. Some foods are better at treating cancer like turmeric, and high blood pressure, such as beets. Unfortunately juicing screws up a bunch of what makes healthy foods so healthy.

a real peer reviewed evidence based website is:
[cochrane.org]
I suggest that you search Turmeric and Beets on this site.
Cancer cannot be solved with magic plants. It is a very complex disease that requires a very complex multifaceted approach to beat it.

@Lukian agreed, cancer is multifactorial and no one cure works for everything. Cochrane is limited because it is mostly looking at meta analysis. But here are my sources [ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] or [cochranelibrary-wiley.com] for beets (here it is from Cochrane.) Or curcumin to treat/prevent pancreatic cancer [mdpi.com] What we have is a world with many chemicals added to our foods, preservatives, flavor enhancer, colors, etc, where the natural food would serve our health better. And it’s a shame when a McDonalds burger meal costs less than healthy food.

@Surchin And it’s a shame when a McDonalds burger meal costs less than healthy food. yes it is. Agreed.
Perfect that you use multiple sources but I caution you on putting too much weight on Dr. Michael Greger and saying that it's a good reference. Just looking at his Meet the team page shows a lot of his scientific depth (i.e. shallow next to none). It's hard to ignore that his website is self serving even if it appears to be a benign-like public service website.

This sums it up best: Retired physician Harriet A. Hall, who is known as a skeptic in the medical community, has written that, while it is well-accepted that it is more healthy to eat a plant-based diet than a typical Western diet, Greger often overstates the known benefits of such a diet as well as the harm caused by eating animal products (for example, in a talk he claimed that a single meal rich in animal products can "cripple" one's arteries), and he sometimes does not discuss evidence that contradicts his strong claims.

These pseudo science proponents should be held liable for these disgraceful lies. They are playing with people's lives.

Including dr oz who Trump is adding to his "people"

@ashortbeauty Just ridiculous, but expected!
