It's not about good vs. evil; it's about democracy vs. authoritarianism, and how an American ex-president would take us from one to the other. This is remarkable and more than a little scary. But yes, there is an implicit value judgement here as well. The cartoonist assumes that at least a majority of his American audience would much rather live in the USA than in Russia, N. Korea, Iran, or China. Are you not part of that majority?

@Flyingsaucesir That's what I said, good vs evil twaddle. The world is a lot more complicated than that. The vast majority of all peoples would rather live in their own homeland. By your logic that means every country on Earth is superior to all others?

@Druvius I didn't say one is intrinsically superior over the other; just that the citizens if one generally prefer their own, if they are allowed to have an opinion.

@Flyingsaucesir Washington supports and allies with numerous autocracies. Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States, Turkey, countless others. And the US only recognizes elections when their guy wins. Not to mention the US has overthrown literally dozens of governments it didn't like to install pro US governments. That's in fact how the mess in Ukraine got started in 2014, the US aided and abetted the overthrow of a democratically elected government to install a virulently anti-Russian government. Since half of Ukraine was ethnic Russian and never wanted to be in Ukraine in the first place, this didn't go over well.
