I disagree with that text in so much as the phrase "I simply value evidence-based research". The reason being is that evidence based research isn't only what others do but what we research and discover for ourselves. Not for others, for ourselves. I'm totally down with rejecting religions and mythology but I'm also for exploring all of life in detail individually.

I find it strange these days that any Evangelical would ask in wonder "who do you worship." This is strange to me because it's hard to call what they do as worship in any way at all.
