I've participated in it my whole adult life, and still ended up being governed by people that were my inferiors, at least when it came to morals, values, and ethics..

Well, yeah. That can happen. However, I think that as long as a person at least participates (votes), then they at least have more of a right to complain than those who don't participate.

I do have one friend who doesn't ever vote, but then he also never complains about politics or government either.

@snytiger6 I agree, you don't have a right to bitch, unless you are willing to at least try to improve things. But voting by itself, changes nothing..
