What am I missing .? I've tried watching parks and recreation twice and I'm trying this wet hit American summer first day of camp . I really can't get the humour so what am I missing? . American summer I've only watched two episodes because of the music

I like them when I can understand them.
I never got it either. Same goes for The Big Bang Theory, and Two And A Half Men was as unfunny as it was misogynist.

I actually like BBT but I agree regarding 2.5 men. That show was nothing but sex references for 30 minutes. to me thats crap writing.
I don't know about Wet Hot American Summer, but Parks and Rec started out really uneven, and got much better as it went along.

Try seasons 5, 6, or 7 of Married..with Children - in my humble opinion the greatest comedy ever!
