Given his loud claims of innocence, you would think he would be eager to have his day in court. An innocent man would want to clear his name as soon as possible. But not Trumpty Dumpty. With him it's all about delay, delay, delay; exactly what a guilty man would do, especially if he knew that if he could delay long enough, he could potentially get back into the office of the presidency, placing him beyond the reach of the law. Well, sorry Donny boy, jury selection starts on Monday! 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, a meme going around Facebook points out the only time he ever isn't willing to speak is when he is under oath.

He has never had to face the full consequences of his actions for his entire life. To be held to account now at 78, must seem pretty daunting.

Of course anything that happens to him is the result of his own actions, so I have no sympathy. What kind of fool commits fraud as part of a standard business practice and then runs for president, when every minutia of a presidents life is heavily scrutinized. That is how the Fraud in his New York fraud case was discovered. Had Trump not jumped into politics, it probably would never have been discovered.

If there weren't statute of limitations on rape charges he'd be facing more than two dozen counts as well.

Scariest thing in the world, to face truths that you've avoided all your life. Accepting responsibility is pretty painful to someone who has run from it all their life, if indeed it is ever accepted.

His ego cannot let him accept it. This is another reason that he starts legal things himself and seems to be his own worst enemy. His followers have parts of this within them and it causes some to say "he tells it like it is." others claim he "gets things done" but evidence does not show this. Many people appear to think there is a fast way to fix something or at least go along because they wish that there was.

@DenoPenno People put too much stock in executive orders, which Trumpty loves to sign. But they are not law, they are just stopgaps or shortcuts, and can easily reversed by another administration. Trump's whole life has been one big shortcut.
