Has anyone heard of Rocket Money? This app has commercials all over TV and was started by Yahya (I cannot pronounce or say his last name.) It is plain to me that the app will end up with all your info and manage everything for you. One of the ads for it has a woman claiming she was so stupid that she had 2 Netflix accounts for 3 years and did not even know it. I guess that is bad but I'm not wanting to give all my info to anything or anybody.

Unless and until I become so poor at taking care of business needs, I prefer to do it myself. If I hand over the financial reigns it will be to someone I know and trust.

Imagine being someone who did not know they had 2 Netflix accounts for 3 years. My simple account with them went up to $23 a month so I recently pulled my credit card info altogether. Surprise! Somehow they found it again and I was charged once more April 30th. I bitched and now my account is closed and I will get a refund.

@DenoPenno If you are going to have automatic deductions from your account you have to keep an eye on them. Might pay to have all automatic deductions reported to you at the end of each month. You could perhaps talk with your bank or credit union and ask if they will do that. If they won't PayPal might. I'm going to have to start watching that closer. I don't believe I have any double dippers but it pays to stay in your toes. It's like you are walking through an electronic version of a pick pocket.
