Michael Cohen has been very believable on the stand. He sounded like a man rehabilitated, a man who owned his prior bad acts and was determined to do what he could to make up for them. And the defense's last witness, Robert Costello made Cohen look positively honest and forthright!
Wait! It gets better! Following Costello's disastrous behavior on the stand, the defense rested. So the ONLY witness who can directly rebut Cohen's claim that he was acting at the direction of Donald J. Trump when he (Cohen) paid for Stormy Daniels' silence about her 2006 affair with Trump, the witness who loudly proclaimed that he would definitely testify, the quadruple-indicted former-president himself, Donald J. Trump, will NOT testify after all. Is anyone surprised?
