Here's the definition of 'spiritual' from the Random House Dictionary. 1. of spirit or the soul. 2. of sacred things or matters. 3. of or belonging to the church. 4. a religious song that originated among blacks of the southern U.S.

. . . No. 1 says “of spirit” so then you have to look that up.

@skado Good point. It has quite a few so here's the top definition. The incorporeal part of human beings in general or an individual, as the soul.

@Dhiltong
Since several are available I guess we get to choose. The ones that make the most sense to me are:

  1. an attitude or principle that inspires, animates, or pervades thought, feeling, or action:
    the spirit of reform.

  2. spirits, feelings or mood with regard to exaltation or depression:
    low spirits; good spirits.

  3. excellent disposition or attitude in terms of vigor, courage, firmness of intent, etc.; mettle:
    That's the spirit!

  4. temper or disposition:
    meek in spirit.

  5. an individual as characterized by a given attitude, disposition, character, action, etc.:
    A few brave spirits remained to face the danger.

  6. the dominant tendency or character of anything:
    the spirit of the age.

  7. vigorous sense of membership in a group:
    college spirit.

  8. the general meaning or intent of a statement, document, etc. (opposed to letter ):
    the spirit of the law.

@skado I was trying to determine if I was spiritual but I think I’ll just stay with ‘Godless Heathen’. ?

Your definition please

I define myself as Spiritual, because even though I believe there is a God/Supreme Being/Creator, I am not comfortable with Religion.

Said that way because I know others will have different definition, and I don',t want to come across as a one true wayist.

Yep! We're here alright.

Everybody here is spiritual. Most of them just don’t know it. Oh! I mean... it depends on your definition of “spiritual”. There, FMP.

@Stacey48 . . Communication hazards!

I am Not spiritual at all. I have no evidence that a spirit exists.

@Stacey48 You were a step ahead of me. I couldn't get the "p" word.

@jwd45244 . . . No spirit of fair play?
No spirited debate?
No team spirit?
