What disturbs me most about how many guns are out there, is that most people don't ever practice with them, as if just owning a gun, even if they have no proficiency, is enough to protect themselves. What happens most often is the gun ends up injuring loved ones more often than the "bad guys", because they don't have proficiency in using a gun or in gun safety.
