That happened at several 2016 rallies, with drump urging the mob on (ohhh, sort of like Jan.6th) and at one he told the violent asshats bring dragged off he woukd pay foe their defense, in front of the entire crowd...but guess what?

@annewimsey500 Yup, someone will eventually be killed at one of his rallies, by his violent followers, and Trump will never be held accountable for it, and the killers will likely get a walk, or be pardoned by Trump later, if he gets power again..

That thought had crossed my mind too, but seems too dangerous a stunt for a wimp like tRump to want to chance. Hell, I wouldn't do it either.

I do. See my comment on the other post and thread on this subject. It was my immediate thought, due to the timing and structure of this event, that it was all a put up job, to benefit Trump. Once again, we have another supposed attempt against a Repub or right winger, and, as always, the attempt fails to kill the apparent target. The only time in my lifetime, where an assassination against someone from the left of the Dems, did not succeed, was Gabby Gifford, and that one severely harmed and disabled her. All the other attempts against people on the left, in my lifetime, all succeeded. King, the two Kennedys, Paul Wellstone, and Mel Carnahan, all dead, and that's because when it's against someone on the left, there is an organized conspiracy, so it succeeds, and when it's against someone on the right, it almost always is a lone wolf nutcase, who fails. In this case, it really smacks of a conspiracy, to make it a staged, failed attempt.

I have to wonder if Melania has mixed feelings about it, since she could have suddenly become the Merry Widow, out of it.. And I agree with the Hitler comparison, and I would have supported the killing of Hitler, with how much death and suffering it would have prevented. But I can't condone that being done with Trump, tempting as it might be. The time for violence and self defense against him and his followers, is after the election, if necessary, depending on the outcome, and if civil war breaks out. Because if all that comes to pass, then the usual rules go out the window, and it's all about survival and winning the war for power..

I also feel bad about this event, in that it also benefits Biden, as it will shut down opposition to him staying as the nominee, so it helps him run out the clock before the Dem convention. I am doubtful that Biden and his people had any role in this event, as a stage shooting, even tho it does benefit them, simply because I don't think they have the organization and ruthlessness, needed to have planned it and pulled it off. If they did have those qualities, then they would never have allowed Biden's debate disaster, to have ever happened in the first place.
