None of these things make any difference. Plenty of change their names, Using an exaggerated childhood to buff up your resume for politics happens all the time, changing your name when you get married, well normally that's just a woman thing, but wtf. I am more concerned with his record as a Senator, businessman, and non-profit leader all of which are not too good.

That's Commmander J.D. Vance right out of the HandMaiden's Tale.

Many poor students go to Yale as Vance did. I guess you don't know Universities offer financial assistance.

Middletown Ohio is not known as a prosperous city. What was your point?

Do better next time.

"Do better next time." ??? Are you suggesting I should know the answer before I ask a question? Or Are you suggesting I should not ask questions you don't like?

@Betty No I am suggesting you think a little before posting nonsense. I am sure you knew Yale grants scholorships & other financial aids, and I suspect you knew Vance held as many as three jobs at a time while at Yale.

YET you posted "Not poor at all, went to Yale" Your post also included "Grew up in the suburbs of Middletown Ohio". SO WHAT? Middletown Ohio and its suburbs were never known as wealthy locations.

THAT among other things is why you need to do better.

@Alienbeing For you to assume to know what I do or do not know is very presumptuous of you.

I had never heard of Vance before he popped up on my feed. I asked a question and I got answers. It was nothing more than that.

@Betty OK

Partly. But he didn’t have sex with a couch! 😂😂😂

You were there 100% of the time and have Made out an affidavit of course......

This is semi-true. He did go to Yale but did so on a full scholarship and the G.I. Bill. His mother changed his middle name to David. Jimmy Hamel was his step-father.

I'm not defending this guy, but I don't like misinformation regardless who its about.

Thanks. 🙂

He's trying to make a name for himself.

Another one?

Yes,apparently so.🤔

If you don't want to be assassinated, get a total loser as VP. The kamala tactic.

Also, already false rumors are being spread about that guy, so future questionable claims about his past should perhaps be approached with skepticism.-

Mixture...
The name changes aren't the big deal some folks are making it out to be, and the going to Yale part was probably due to the fact he had served in the Marine Corps and they help pay for college education. The only disputed part there would be whether or not he grew up in a poor family, and appears to have come from a middle class family. So where he grew up looks like the only truly questionable point mentioned above in the meme, the name changes do not appear to be a big deal.

Thank you. 🙂

@Betty Sure thing. Have enough past experience in doing research on various topics (and currently in some of my online coursework), so are used to looking alot of stuff up.

@SpikeTalon Good to know. If I have questions would you consider being my go-to guy?

@Betty Surely, assuming I get enough spare time to be active on here. Truth be told though, in the near future will be looking into creating accounts on certain sites (sites like Substack and GitHub etc, info sharing sites), and have deleted a few accounts on some other sites that I'm either no longer active on or don't have enough time to be active on, and this was one of the sites I had considered at least pausing my account on. Not saying I'll do that for sure, but the thought had crossed my mind, knowing how glitchy this site can get at times.

@SpikeTalon You know you would be missed. Besides...the glitches make it...interesting? 🙂

I believe it is, I have seen it several times recently.

Your belief signifies what?
