So I've pretty much given up on dating, specifically dating websites and apps. Even though this is technically a dating site, I expect nothing whatsoever, and am merely happy to be a part of a collective that shares my (non)-spiritual beliefs. I don't want to spend the rest of my short life alone, but this dating app culture is empty and unrewarding. Not to mention intensely frustrating. In an age where communication is instantaneous, no one communicates. You can thumb and swipe through numerous profiles, find someone who is real & searching for everything you can genuinely offer, reach out to them...and receive nothing in return. In the global community of the 21st century...we are all more alone than ever.

I feel the same. I too just wanted to find others out there that shared my lack of belief. Dating sites are a joke. I have found not one person in my day to day life that is an atheist or even agnostic. It's getting lonely.

I've had a few bad experiences and hid my dating profiles in protest. I usually don't last more than a day or two. But I'm annoyingly optimistic and feel like eventually I'll find someone and don't want to decrease my changes.

we talk openly to no one because we are looking at a screen. I agree with you and I can't be assed to try but I never say never. most dating sights are full of shit money orientated is all.

I feel the same way. I think finding love happens by happenstance only. When you're actively seeking and trying to force the situation to happen it almost never does.

your right, you find it by not looking.

Hi, Superbeast, and welcome to the website!

You'll earn website points and help people get to know you better if you write a profile and answer more of the profile questions, since that's the first place many women look when they see a new member.
Then make comments and post your own questions to earn more points, and when you reach level two you can private message women who interest you.

Good luck, and remember that relaxed confidence, and humor, usually attracts women.

If one person doesn't respond to you, just move on to another one. The main problem being a new website-there might be limited numbers of compatible women living near you.

It sounds as if you haven't been very lucky with your attempts to meet people so far. I think the members of this group are still spread pretty thinly around the country so it may be as more people join you will find someone you have more in common with. Hang on in there are just chat until something better turns up. There are lots of interesting conversations going on!
