It's not always open, but if you look at the Senate page you'll see an option to view opening hours - and, when it is open, an option to enter it. There's also a little icon with two speech bubbles between the "meet" and "about" tabs; when it's orange the chatroom is open.

You want to look for the group community Senate. I suggest reading the posts in the group and get it to know the members before you enter the chat room you'll find it there. Good luck and welcome!

Hmm...I must have missed the hallowed level chat room on my way to level 8.

You get an Agnostic T-shirt when you reach level eight, but I'm living in Thailand, so too expensive to ship me one until I move back to the US. Since I'll be moving to Lexington, KY, maybe I'd better not wear it in public, to stay safer.

Lexington is a liberal town, but plenty of alt-rights around.
