That I wake up each morning and I'm still breathing.

Being both literate and intelligent. Can you imagine how frustrating it was in years past for the intelligent people who never had an education? I shudder to think how many great minds were lost usually due to religious oppression and sexism....and how many are still being lost today in cults where women are not educated or allowed to be anything other than baby factories. As a result, I'm always disappointed in women who sell themselves short to become baby factories when they have a choice to have a career instead.

Well, she's not a "thing", but I certainty appreciate my wife more than anything or anyone else.
(Don't tell the cats though)

That at my age l am taking no prescription drugs, l can still play drums, and l don't need the little blue pill. I know that is 2 more than you ask for, but they all carry equal weight for me. ?

You find yourself alone with a problem or some onerous task, things aren't going particularly week, but you aren't giving up. Still progress is slow, you are starting to get tired, you are already sweating, and things don't look good, but there is no going back. Then, when things look the bleakest, a friend's face pops out from around the corner. You had no idea he knew you were here, you surely didn't ask him for help. "Need a hand?" he says. This, this is what I really appreciate. When you need a friend, and a friend shows up. ??

A warm sunny day (never a hot day). And I recently, 4 years ago, got a grandson, through my son and his wife. I love them (all three) so much it hurts. Being with my grandson it the most beautiful thing in the world that I can imagine. I can same the same for my three (grown-up) children two girls and a boy, or put another way, two women and a man.
