I've noticed there are a lot of fruity ales&ciders now in the state where I live. It seems the local brewers here in Michigan have created a beer-flavor-vibe renaissance. I hope it sweeps across the rest of the country. There's nothing better than a perfect beer!

It is thrilling to have several breweries in close proximity, each has many unique tasting beers:

Due South Brewing
Mathews Brewing
Centerpoint Brewery

All within a 5 mile radius. I'am off to Mathews, my latest craze, this afternoon, great place with super nice beers with all kinds of flavors and alcohol levels. Only issue, is that they make small batches, so if I go one week the beer I liked may no longer be available. They're new so perhaps they will settle down to few stable choices after awhile.

I used to live in Spring Lake, MI and this place has some excellent beverages. I do a bit of brewing and distilling myself as a hobby.

I think beer should basically and pretty much taste like beer. The farthest out I go is Blue Moon. Once I ordered some IPA and I almost choked.

Nice one! Craft beer is big here in Australia. I don't know a single person who drinks Fosters. Interestingly, Canberra is a particularly big place for craft beer.
