And why the hell would I want to grow up? Did my best my entire life...mommy's helper to 3 younger brothers, nurseries to drunken wife-beater, drudge maid to narcissistic a-holes. Now turning 70, the best time of my life is now, hands down!

Why not have your cake and eat it too? I want both, and that means ice cream cake, with lots of chocolate and whipped cream!
In my opinion, true maturity is taking care of business but not letting your responsibilities define you. The old saw: work to live, not the other way around!
