I actually found some I like , made by an old Southern friend - yet I prefer hard crunchy ones best!

In any event , they beat hard tack - the soldiers' rations !

My wife and I were visiting my brother in Florida, and she loved the boiled peanuts and ate loads of them. Then she got sick from something and threw them all up. She'll never eat them again.

Took a trip below the Mason Dixon line a few years ago and saw all the boiled peanut stands along the road so decided to try some, I found them to be nasty but that is just my opinion.
