What do you think of non-religious people ridiculing Christianity but embracing Islam?

While not good, Christians are the only pushers. No other religion pushes their beliefs -- if you want to join the religion, fine. And yes I use the word pusher -- they seek out others. A dealer waits for you to come to them. It may be a drug term, but I think it says a lot about phone sales, pop-ups, door-to-door salesmen. The only groups I do not call pushers are the local schools selling them for whatever. So Steppenwolf 'The Pusher'.

Hmm, you don't know much about Islam apparently.

Which aspects of Islam?

Elaborate

I don't know enough about Islam. There has to be some positive as well as negative aspects.

I don't believe that they 'embrace' Islam. They maybe less critical of it and certainly reluctant to stand alongside the Christian right.
The problem with ANY religion is the power it exerts. You don't see much criticism of Jainism or flat earthers or judaism or...on this site. Probably because it doesn't impact into our, mainly, American or English world view.
The problem with Christianity or Islam or.... is not that they believe weird stuff. It's that people holding those views go on to impact into the lives of other people.
I live in Britain. Sure there are plenty of Muslims in Britain. Sure I think Islam is as whacky as Christianity but in my country the power of Islam is insignificant compared to the power of Christianity.
Most of the Islam bashing in Britain is undertaken by people who are politically on the right. They have a very different set of core beliefs to me. Theirs is an agenda of bigotry and racism trying to hide under a cloak of free speech.
I'm not a fan of Islam but I'm wary of Islam bashing being used to divert our attention and energies away from the real issues troubling our societies.

I agree, but what's gonna happen when Muslims become a majority of population or at least significant. I grew in an arab country and I know what happens when they are majority.

The world would be a better place without either one, if you ask me.

I think it might be more likely that they are comfortable standing against the white christian majority, but get a little confused when standing against an equally bad but predominantly ethnic minority.
Also some just might be hypocritical dicks.

Precisely

I don't belive there is a huge number of people doing this. I'm going to call this a conspiricy theory, hyperbole based on miniscule facts.

Well not embracing Islam so much but I know many who defend it.

more bullshit

I think that they're not non-religious.

I am non-religious and I don't embrace any religion. I honestly do not understand how one can do so and remain sane. That said, if I was somehow transported to Saudi Arabia from my home in B.C., I would likely embrace the hell out of Islam ... until I got the heck out of there!

Agree, but surprisingly those people are westernes in this case!

Turning on their own personal diversity virtue signal for all to admire.
