I like where I live and we get many German and Japanese tourists coming to visit Olympic National Park. Everything you've ever heard about how wild and fun Carnavale in Rio is true, plus the food and beaches in Brasil are great. I have SAD and think my health insurance should pay me to spend winters there.

I like to travel to the 12 or so National Parks that are within driving distance of my house. The closest is Rocky Mountain National Park, a mere 45 minutes away. Picture of Gem Lake, just north of Estes Park.

I miss Colorado, lived there for years. I'm near Olympic Park now which has mountains and ocean. Rarely warm enough to swim, alas.
