Well, I think he is a business man making being in a position to manipulate the market, which he and his friends have the best profit. I thought manipulating the stock market is illegal. Apparently not if you are president.

Wow. That (what the video said) would explain a lot. I will be thinking about and pondering this a bit. I hate Trump, but something like this needs some consideration before adopting it as belief.

True. I am not posting trying to convince or sway anybody toward one way of thinking or another. I put these on here for people to consider; don't really care if someone believes it or not. I will admit it shows my bias by posting it, but I expect everyone, like you, to form their own opinion on the matter. Thanks for raising that point.

@Condor5 My reticence didn't stop me from reposting it on Facebook though. Just to get peopel thinking.

There is a reason why I refer to his base as #Cult45. They believe every word that comes out of his mouth even though they have been disproven more often than not. This is akin to religious folks who believe their pastors are 100% legit.

Cult45. I like that.

Well put.

Yes, the "value voters." It's white Evangelical voters because this is all about white privilege. This is a reclaiming of the religious ways of the past. Only whites matter. They control everything and even religion. Slavery was OK because it taught the slaves about the "true gawd." The Trump cult that now springs up says it is OK to be a neo Nazi American or a Klansman.

I find all of it disturbing and damned dangerous!

The only ones who don't believe this are the ones who voted for him. He is in conflict between the Russians who are against the Nazi Flag and the Christians who think that Stormy Daniels was a figment of Larry Flint's imagination or that his other two former wives weren't exercises in marital fidelity.

He's a puppet not a leader

Look at cults, read about them. You will see similarities about them. They day thwy are Christians but make up the rules as

They say they are Christians but make up the rules as they go along. . Don't believeTrumps marital infidelities or Mueller looking into his affairs of money laundering, bribery etc.. Love his love of money. Push out and break up immigrant families. If Trump told them to come after liberals..they would do it . With their guns. I think so. He also wants to be President for many years l8ke FDR. The whole thing is not normal.

@Dave75 They are morally going against the teachings of Jesus Christ.I can't believe profit gospels like Olsteen. No trickle down for them either...

Mr Aslan is not one of my favourite people, I must confess, due to his thinly disguised apologising for Islam and its extremism, though he does seem to be a decent fellow in interviews, but there's a filament of truth here. He's hardly the first person to say it either. It's not just the evangelicals either. The unwavering support of Trump by everyday folk, about whom Trump couldn't care less, despite his appalling character and attacks upon them in his policies, is very much like a cult. They fell under the Trump cult spell. They aren't thinking with their rational minds but their emotional minds, like religionists and cultists do. So, the usual political criticisms don't work on them. It's just like in a cult where the cult leader takes their money, lies and peddles nonsense, and screws them over, literally and figuratively, but to the followers he's their spiritual leader and whatever other people say about him is wrong. Cult followers have to outgrow that dependence. It'll be the same for many Trump supporters. People never like to admit they were wrong and others were right.

Like lemmings...

He is a bully, not a leader.

No, Donald is a psychopath who happen to have won over the some right wing churches. A lot of those so called leaders there are also psychopaths.

Agreed
